Founded Genesis Business Centers which takes equity positions in its incubator client companies. Mr. Jacobs offers his services through Genesis to its incubator client companies as an acting CFO a part time basis. Three of the Genesis companies have had liquidity events through acquisitions by third parties

Filmtec Corp (1979 - 1987) -
Mr. Jacobs served as CFO for FilmTec, a 1977 start up company that manufactured reverse osmosis membrane products for desalination and water purification. The company was sold to Dow Chemical Company for $75 million in 1985.
